Our Story

A Mission Built on
Real Need. Real Families.

What started in 2012 as support for foster youth evolved into something deeper — a conviction that children belong in family, and that family needs support to succeed.

How We Began

From Foster Care to
Family First

In 2012, All Things New Inc. began with a clear purpose: to support foster care youth aging out of the system — providing housing, mentorship, and a path forward for young people with nowhere to go.

But over time, something became undeniably clear. Many of the children entering the foster care system didn't need to be there at all. They had family willing to step in. Grandparents ready to say yes. Aunts and uncles prepared to open their doors. What they lacked was not love — it was support.

In 2018, All Things New Inc. shifted its mission entirely. Today, we focus exclusively on kinship care and grandfamilies — because the best place for a child is with family.

What We Stand For

Mission, Vision & Core Values

Our Mission

To support families raising children in kinship care through resources, education, advocacy, and community.

We walk alongside grandparents, kinship caregivers, and families in crisis — providing practical tools, compassionate guidance, and the community they need to build stable, loving homes.

Our Vision

A future where every child who can stay with family does — and every caregiver has the support they need.

We envision communities where kinship caregivers are fully resourced, children remain connected to their family and culture, and no family faces hardship alone.

Our Core Values

01

Family First

Every decision, every program, and every resource we provide is rooted in keeping families together and children connected to their roots.

02

Compassion Without Condition

Every caregiver who comes to us receives dignity, respect, and genuine care — regardless of circumstances, challenges, or where they are in their journey.

03

Practical Action

Love without action is not enough. We combine deep empathy with concrete tools — legal knowledge, financial navigation, advocacy training, and coaching.

04

Community as Healing

Isolation is one of the greatest burdens kinship caregivers carry. We build real, sustained community where no one walks alone.

05

Faith-Rooted Hope

We are anchored in the belief that God has a plan for every family. Even in their hardest chapter. Especially in their hardest chapter.

06

Relentless Advocacy

We speak up in systems, classrooms, courtrooms, and communities on behalf of the families we serve — until they have the voice and confidence to speak for themselves.

Meet Our Founder

Patricia Holland —
A Leader Who Leads
from Experience

Patricia Holland has spent over a decade at the intersection of faith, family, and community advocacy. She built All Things New Inc. not from a grant application or a strategic plan — but from seeing real families in her community struggle without support.

She saw grandmothers at church raising grandchildren alone. Uncles navigating courtrooms they'd never been in before. Families falling through the cracks of systems not designed with them in mind. And she decided that was not acceptable.

Under her leadership, All Things New Inc. has grown from a single program into a full-service kinship support organization — touching hundreds of families and thousands of children.

"God's plan for your family doesn't end at the hardest chapter. All Things New was built to be the bridge between that hardest moment and the hope that's waiting on the other side."
